Sendit became popular as an add-on for Snapchat, with game-style prompts and stickers for your story. MirrorBox does the same core job, anonymous questions from your friends, as a simple link that works on any app and in any browser, with no paid "reveal".

NOTE

Quick answer: Pick MirrorBox if you want a free link for Snapchat, Instagram or TikTok, more message types (songs, "describe me in 3 words", vibe checks), and a chat where senders can choose to reveal themselves instead of a weekly subscription. Pick Sendit if you mainly want its Snapchat camera games.

The "reveal" subscription#

Sendit's paid tier is called Diamond Membership. In September 2025 the FTC sued Sendit's operator, Iconic Hearts, and its CEO. The FTC alleged that the $9.99-a-week membership promised to show who sent messages but often showed only generic details like phone type or region, or nothing, and that billing terms weren't clearly disclosed (FTC press release). These are allegations, and the court hasn't ruled yet.

MirrorBox doesn't sell reveals. You can start a chat from any message. The sender stays anonymous and gets a button to reveal who they are if and when they want. It's always their choice. More on this in can you see who sent an anonymous message?

Real messages vs "fake" ones#

The same FTC complaint alleges that Sendit sent invented messages, some of them provocative, made to look like they came from real users. Again, that's an allegation the court will decide.

On MirrorBox, messages in your inbox come from people who opened your link. Notes MirrorBox sends itself come from Miro, its own guide account, so they never pose as one of your friends.

Not just Snapchat#

Sendit was built as a Snapchat add-on. A MirrorBox link is a normal web link, so you can use the same mirrorbox.me/yourname on your Snapchat story, Instagram story, TikTok bio or anywhere else. Senders tap it and type, without the app or an account.

More ways to reply#

Instead of one question box, MirrorBox lets friends send:

Safety and age#

MirrorBox's minimum age is 13. Accounts need a birth month and year, optional emails are off for anyone under 18, and every account gets spam and hate filters on by default, one-tap block, report and mute, muted words, control over who can message you, and pausing your inbox. See the community guidelines.

Which one should you pick?#

  • Choose MirrorBox if you want a free link that works on every app, no paid reveals, and more message types.
  • Choose Sendit if Snapchat camera games are the main thing you want.
